How the Calculation Works
GPA is a weighted average. Each letter grade maps to a grade point value. That value is multiplied by the course's credit hours to produce grade points. All grade points are summed and divided by total credit hours.
GPA = Sum(Grade Points x Credit Hours) / Sum(Credit Hours)
