What Is a Shoe Size Converter?
A shoe size converter translates a shoe size from one international standard to another. The four most common standards are the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), European (EU), and Japanese (centimeter or Mondopoint) systems. Each system measures feet differently: the US and UK systems use different starting points and increments based on barleycorns (one-third of an inch), the EU system uses a Paris point (two-thirds of a centimeter), and the Japanese system simply uses foot length in centimeters.

How the Conversion Works
