How to Calculate Running Pace
Pace is how long it takes you to cover a given distance, usually expressed in minutes per mile or minutes per kilometer.
Pace = Time / Distance

Pace Conversion: Miles to Kilometers
To convert a mile pace to kilometer pace, divide by 1.609. A 9:00 per mile pace equals approximately 5:35 per kilometer (540 seconds / 1.609 = 335 seconds = 5:35).

Zone 2 Training: Why It Works
Zone 2 has become the most talked-about training zone in fitness, and the science backs it up. Zone 2 is 60% to 70% of your maximum heart rate. For a 40-year-old, that is 108 to 126 bpm.
At Zone 2 intensity, your body primarily uses fat for fuel rather than carbohydrates.
